Hypnotherapy

What is hypnosis?

Everyone has experienced a trance state many times throughout their life. Whether we're aware of it or not, we all go into a light hypnotic trance every day. Perhaps whilst driving your car from A to B, you may find that when you get to your destination, you cannot remember anything about the journey you've just made. This is a form of hypnotic trance.

Clinical hypnosis channels the trance to achieve some desired result such as overcoming phobias, fears or other negative patterns of behaviour.

Hypnosis simply relaxes the body and mind, quieting the conscious mind so that memories from the subconscious mind can be accessed. You are always in control and do not have to divulge any information unless you want to.

You will not fall asleep during hypnosis, in fact, you may find that your senses become sharper. You will always be aware of the noise/activity around you. You will not become unconscious, in fact, most people coming out of a hypnotic trance do not believe that they have been hypnotised at all. You can come back to conscious awareness at any time you choose. No one has ever been unable to come out of hypnosis.

Hypnosis can be used as a tool to eliminate bad habits/behaviours. This can enable people to heal by allowing negative issues to be resolved. Being able to live your life in a much more positive way can lead to a sense of achievement and freedom to be who you want to be.

Hypnosis can help with the following issues:
